Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR)

  • $0.00

ALR's are mainly used with industrial or off road vehicles, they are not suitable for on-road use. They are different from ELRs as once you pull out the webbing on an ALR to the desired maximum and set the lock it will only retract after that. If you try to pull it out further once set it will lock. An ARL will reset when undone and all the webbing has been wound in; the webbing can then be pulled out once again to the desired length. Because of the auto-locking feature they are not as comfortable to use as an ERL and will feel more restrictive.
